The start of term

Today is the start of term. It’s a strange time of year for those of us who work at universities. The rooms that have been lying around unused for the summer are now busy with people. There’s queues in coffee shops where there was no queue before. And there’s a nice buzz of excitement in the air. I just popped down to my lecture theatre for this year’s class and found people in it!
